What is a Virtual Assistant?
A Virtual Assistant is either a contract or freelance professional who works remotely. They focus on administrative tasks that are similar to those of an executive assistant or secretary/PA to support their client’s needs.
What does a Virtual Assistant do?
A Virtual Assistant does all or most of the administrative work that you either don’t want to or don’t have the time to do. Examples are:

• Making calls and scheduling bookings
• Diary and Email management
• Letter writing
• Copy typing and proof-reading
• Data entry and processing
• Internet research
• Managing to-do lists and setting reminders
• Basic financial organisation
• Travel research and scheduling arrangements
• Event planning and co-ordination
• Powerpoint presentations
• Updating social media accounts

Who can benefit from a Virtual Assistant?
Any business or individual can benefit from a Virtual Assistant - public speakers, consultants, coaches, executives, small to large businesses.....the list goes on!
Is there a Confidentiality Agreement?
Yes. This is covered in my Freelance Agreement and is signed by both parties. It protects both of us and is of benefit to both parties.
Do I have to purchase a minimum number of hours?
No. Work can be carried out on an ad-hoc basis at an hourly rate of £25 or you can choose a package to suit your needs. See Pricing for further details.
What hours do you work?
My normal working hours are 9am to 5pm. However if you require me to carry out urgent work outside of these hours, my hourly rate will be £35 per hour (subject to my availability and the scope of the work required).
How do we share files?
There are a number of options available to share files including Dropbox, Box.com, OneDrive and Google Drive. Whatever your preference, I can work with you.
How will you invoice me?
For first time clients, a 50% deposit is required before work commences. An invoice will then be issued two weeks after for the remaining balance or when the work has been completed, whichever is the sooner.
For existing clients: Retainer package invoices will be issued for the full amount when work commences. All other invoices will be issued upon completion of the work.
What are your payment terms?
Retainer package invoices are issued at the start of the package with payment due by the end of the 30 day period. Any additional hours or billable expenses incurred during the retainer package period will be invoiced separately at the end of the 30 day period with payment due within 7 days.
Any hourly rate work will be invoiced upon completion of the work with payment due within 7 days.
Please note, once an invoice becomes overdue, no further work will be undertaken for the client until this is resolved.
How do I Pay?
Either by bank transfer or business cheque.
